HOW DO YOU DEFINE CREATIVITY?
Creativity is a Hub/Canvas of one's creative ability, to create inspiring craft work to share with the masses. Creativity comes from within, it is a God given form to express yourself through art and endless creative innovation that will inspire and touch lives in bettering themselves and grow in spheres of creative arts.


WHAT IS CreativesMeetUpSA  ALL ABOUT?
CreativesMeetUpSA is an Arts organisation that sets to give young and vibrant individuals a platform to showcase their talent and craft, in collaboration, networking and sharing skills.
bringing creatives together, working with each other in assisting each other grow in their relevant spheres of work.

 


WHERE IS IT HELD/WHERE IS IT STARTED?
it hails from East London(Eastern Cape),For now, as the organisation has just been recently launched, we have an online page that focuses on showcasing individuals creative craft, with features and marketing their work, working on photo shoots with artist in/and around East London, work on creative concepts and collaborations with relevant sources who are in the creative field.

Yes,I am the founder and the art director of CreativesMeetUpSA


DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AS A CREATIVE PERSON?
Yes, I do see myself as a creative person


WHAT IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE HAS INFLUENCED YOU TO START A CREATIVE ORGANISATION?
Growing up I've always had the love for art and being creative in that field, with work that will inspire and change people's lives. Back in my high school days I was involved in Arts and Craft, creative writing(POETRY).I did well in everything that involved art, craft and design .I was one of the top students in arts and culture at Adelaide Primary and High school.That is where my love for art began and decided to broad my creative talent to other forms of work and also got inspiration from my aunt who was a Model, Arts Director and a Fashion Designer.


DO YOU STRIVE TO BE UNIQUE IN YOUR CREATIVE ENDEAVOURS?PLEASE EXPLAIN.
Yes, I do strive to be unique, change lives and break boundaries in the creative space, for it to evolve further into an even bigger platform, for creatives to come together in expanding it, create things that we wish existed and keep the creative innovation alive in all means and share their amazing work with the world. CreativeMeetUpSA is the future ,The creative culture is the future. When art comes alive on a whole new level.


WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP YOURSELF MOTIVATED AND INTERESTED IN YOUR WORK?
I am a creative person, I do a lot of research in expanding my knowledge in the creative field and ideas I can work with in expanding my work and setting it out to evolve more . I align myself with beings who are in the creative space in socialising, sharing skills and collaborating.


IS CreativesMeetUp FOR ALL PEOPLE OR FOR ONLY PEOPLE IN THE CREATIVE FIELD?
I'd like to say that CreativesMeetUpSA is for everyone, there are no boundaries set for it or people excluded. Art is something that is supposed to be shared and celebrated, therefore I feel even people who are not in the creative field should also be part of the culture and take out something from the work that is being done by creatives and celebrate their amazing work.


WHAT CONTENT IS YOUR ORGANISATION ALL ABOUT?
It focuses on content about Fashion, Art, Photography, Features, Videos, Culture and People.

 

 

DO YOU THINK THAT THE YOUTH'S ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEIR WORK HAS CHANGED?HOW SO AND WHY?
Yes, it has changed. The youth of today are success hungry and are creating opportunities for themselves to take youth development and its growth on a whole new level.


HOW DOES EASTERN CAPE'S CREATIVE FIELD REFLECT OR DIFFERS FROM THE ONE INTERNATIONALLY?
EC/EL's creative field artists are taking creativity on a whole new level, it differs from international arts in its own unique way because we are a reflection to ourselves and our own craft to set East London(Eastern Cape) to a new height. Everyone has their own way to potray creativity and through themselves.


HOW DO YOU SEE YOUR WORK IN 2 YEARS TIME?
I see it evolved a lot. Working with the greatest and most highly influential creative beings in the arts field, having the organisation known all over South Africa, growing individuals in their craft and setting my work to make a mark internationally and working on building/living a legacy that will change and touch lives.
