This is just a small trailer video showing some of the Creatives who will be in the first season of Pretoria Superstars.Each of them are introducing themselves as  creatives,presenting and showing the story of who they are,what they like to do and what they get up to in a day.In the reality show trailer, its the scene of the Superstars introducing themselves ,the scene of them getting out,a scene of them exploring the streets of Pretoria, and also the night scene which was taken at the Furor Kulchar PTA show which is a fashion exhibition. 

The Pretoria Superstars is a local reality show meaning its real life in SA.Every contestant will be living their real life and showing the art side and the creative side of themselves. Practicing and perfecting their crafts or interests.

'Couldn't ' is not the only song we know from the Album. A Reece has released a couple of tracks that are in the album before the album was released, such as #Mgani , #Sebenza , #Zimbali and #Couldn't. All the four songs are the biggest songs in South Africa right now and all music videos of those tracks are playing on television, all the songs got many air plays from different radio stations.

 A month ago Kid X left Cashtime records and released a track titled 'Thank you' .'Thank you' was a song dedicated to KO and Cashtime since he was leaving the record for good.In 'Thank you ',Kid X mention that even though he is leaving he'l always be Cashtime by heart.Kid X & Kwesta Joined forces and opened up a record label called RapLyf.Raplyf records signed a duo called 'TLT' and also a young producer named 'Makwa 6eats'

After the last track Kid X released,he's back with a new hot track 'Laundry Day Fresh ' produced by Makwa 6eats.The song is different from every song he has ever dropped. Back in Cashtime Kid X's rapping style was Skhanda rap ( ghetto rap ) but on Laundry day fresh the rap style is too creative and it is more commercial .The way the beats are and the way he used his vocals makes it more different and unique. 

Let's talk about how the music video of the song is.Laundry Day Fresh music video is more like the western movies.Kid x wakes up in the laundry feeling fresh with girls around doing their laundry. The Refugee$ -Music group

The Refugees is a music group based in Pretoria Sunnyside Founded by Man-dog in Early 2015,It was in 2014 when Man-Dog decided to go back to the City (Pretoria ) to hustle ,Since he loved music Man-dog moved to Sunnyside (Pretoria) to push his dream. .After a couple of days Man-dog met a few old friends 'Yankee & Magic '.''Me and my friends have this thing of sitting outside at night and freestyle or battle each other for fun,so as time went by Hendricah_Skips joined the circle and thats when we decided we should form a music crew.''Says Man-dog. The group was named "The Refugee$" because the members come from different countries.Yankee is from DRC ,Magic is from Angola, Hendricah_Skips and Man-doG are from South Africa .Early 2015 a few of artists joined the crew.They found a producer and recorded their first song together .After recording a few tracks they decided to let the people hear their music..The Refugee got their first performance at the  "Mzansi Fashion Hub" at the Tshwane Hub where they performed one song and they were amazed and happy to see people's reaction to their song.In April 2016 The Refugees performed at "PTA Fashion Expression Show".Through their hustle The Refugees managed to get to perform at the biggest growing event in South Africa  "The Social Market "..Since then The Refugees is now a mob,joined by Easy Rider, Tee-Dawg, Mic-Lico and Lady Please .

The Refugees is a group of hardworking peers.Man-Dog tells us about how they spend most of their time in the studio trying to get that new sound.They come from a town where nobody listens,Sunnyside is a place where everyone does their own things and nobody looks at what others are doing so it's very hard to make it. 

The Refugees's audience is still less since they are an upcoming music group.The fact that they are from different countries helps them have fans from different countries. 

South African hip-hop music supporters are not ready for the Refugees and when  they get ready everything will be a mess since they will be coming as thunder and storm.

"Our goal is to get the name known all over the continent " Man-Dog says..he believes that him and his crew can hit all the boarders and get the name 'Refugees' all over Africa. The Refugees starts in the streets of Sunnyside. 

Our interview with The Refugees went very well, the young kings real show they are hungry for success.we can't wait to have them around again. We have alot of questions for them already.

Bambata is an apparel and luxury accessories brand in South Africa. 

The clothing brand 'Bambata' became more popular in 2013 when its design "Petrol or Milk" was in the trend. Petrol or Milk falls under Bambata and its their first design. We have seen most of South African celebrities wearing a t.shirt or a Cap of Petrol or Milk,most music videos in SA were sponsored by Bambata in 2013 and 2014.

The Petrol or Milk logo or brand design is very unique and so creative.In the design we see a mixture of a motor bike and a cow.The motor bike represents the Petrol and the Cow represents the Milk,all together it brings us to one question, 'Petrol or Milk'?..

Since everyone was excited about having a piece of Petrol or Milk, jealous people started making fake t.shirts and selling them for cheap price.That was cruel and not good but it never stopped Bambata from coming up with new ideas & new designs..In 2015 Bambata started designing their own clothes and opened up a clothing store in the CBD of Pretoria. Since then Bambata has been doing good and selling. 

Bambata is an African name which means stomp.Their 2016 designs are just represented with a symbol 'B' that shows it is Bambata. It is no longer just printed t.shirts but designed clothing.

Mr Cashtime (KO) drops another hit featuring the real smart mampara Okmalumkoolkat.This one is more of a story telling. .most of the people like Okmalumkoolkat's verse but KO's 2nd verse was too great.The 2  have different rap style but the vibe is the same..they both rap for the hood that's what makes their collaboration great.

"Don dada" is a nice song to jam to,or listen to when sad or happy...it's those kind of songs where you feel like they just keep you going..The beat is a little bit international but the vibe is too local. 

The song cover (artwork ) is local and portrays more about ghetto  (kasi).Two young men standing in front of an RDP house ,the clothes they are wearing and how they are wearing them also shows they are from a ghetto which tells that the song is about a ghetto something.

Khuliso Adolf Mudau.Born in April 27 1997,well known as 'HaaNdi YellowMah',Is a young upcoming Venrap from Ntabalala,Limpopo South Africa.Yellow grew up listening to Music and had much love for hip-hop music. In 2009,by the age of 12 Yellow started writing songs .In 2010 he met a young Producer ''Kurtis beats '' from his home town .They recorded some few tracks that's when  Yellow decided he should start being more serious,He then went on and met Adroid..Their partnership didn't go well at first, So it caused them to separate. .Yellow didn't stop working hard,in fact he worked very harder. Through his hustle Yellow managed to work with other artists such as Fusco bell and other unknown artists ..In 2013 Yellow and Adroid  decided they should get together and work on a project. Ragimani/Bergman Mahlogonolo known as 'Catcher' which is his stage name is an upcoming artist from Limpopo South Africa.He started the music industry by the age of 15 in 2010.He recently turned 21 this year,Catcher tells us about being in a record label, he tells us he got signed to a record label(Ballitainment Media ) by 2014.His Music has been air played on the following radio stations-Phalaphala fm,Thobela fm ,Capricorn fm and other local radio stations..Catcher's single ''Otlwa'' has been nominated at the Tshivenda Music Awards (TSHIMA) For  Best Tshivenda Hit Single ..''I didn't do much performances back then''he says..Catcher's biggest performances was when he performed at the Annual Show In Makhado LTT Showground and also at the Music Festival In Alexandra Sankopano Stadium .He is now working on an album ''I'm Ready''which he believes it will take him far from where he is now..We don't know the album release dates yet but we probably sure its later this year (2016)or early next year (2017).He just dropped 'Nombolo' which is one of the hits in the album

1) How can yu define the type of Artist yu are?
- •I am a versatile,multilingual kind of an artist. Who loves taking on challenges head on.

2) Why do you make music?
-•I make music to express myself,I express myself better through songs than in a conversation. Also to share my ordeals through my songs.Some people relate to what I am going through in my life.

3) Is making music your career?
- •I can't really say making music is my sole career. I am too ambitious and goal driven..Education comes first. Its not often that you find an artist with no educational background writing lyrics that makes sense,music that touches hearts and change lives.

4) Your Profile states that you are signed, What made you choose to get signed and not stay independent?
- •Yes I am signed..Back then i didn't  really believe in myself making it alone,i needed help until Ballitainment approached me to join their team. I knew that when i get signed i'd then get recognized
5) How do you see yourself in 2 years to come?
- I see myself as a star,a national act.I see South Africa's next biggest thing ,having to perform international .In 2 years time i would be an inspiration to upcoming artists

6) who would you like to send a shout out to?

Growing up I've always had the love for art and being creative in that field, with work that will inspire and change people's lives. Back in my high school days I was involved in Arts and Craft, creative writing(POETRY).I did well in everything that involved art, craft and design .I was one of the top students in arts and culture at Adelaide Primary and High school.That is where my love for art began and decided to broad my creative talent to other forms of work and also got inspiration from my aunt who was a Model, Arts Director and a Fashion Designer.


DO YOU STRIVE TO BE UNIQUE IN YOUR CREATIVE ENDEAVOURS?PLEASE EXPLAIN.
Yes, I do strive to be unique, change lives and break boundaries in the creative space, for it to evolve further into an even bigger platform, for creatives to come together in expanding it, create things that we wish existed and keep the creative innovation alive in all means and share their amazing work with the world. CreativeMeetUpSA is the future ,The creative culture is the future. When art comes alive on a whole new level.


WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP YOURSELF MOTIVATED AND INTERESTED IN YOUR WORK?
I am a creative person, I do a lot of research in expanding my knowledge in the creative field and ideas I can work with in expanding my work and setting it out to evolve more . I align myself with beings who are in the creative space in socialising, sharing skills and collaborating.


IS CreativesMeetUp FOR ALL PEOPLE OR FOR ONLY PEOPLE IN THE CREATIVE FIELD?
I'd like to say that CreativesMeetUpSA is for everyone, there are no boundaries set for it or people excluded. Art is something that is supposed to be shared and celebrated, therefore I feel even people who are not in the creative field should also be part of the culture and take out something from the work that is being done by creatives and celebrate their amazing work.


WHAT CONTENT IS YOUR ORGANISATION ALL ABOUT?
It focuses on content about Fashion, Art, Photography, Features, Videos, Culture and People.

 

 

DO YOU THINK THAT THE YOUTH'S ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEIR WORK HAS CHANGED?HOW SO AND WHY?
Yes, it has changed. The youth of today are success hungry and are creating opportunities for themselves to take youth development and its growth on a whole new level.


HOW DOES EASTERN CAPE'S CREATIVE FIELD REFLECT OR DIFFERS FROM THE ONE INTERNATIONALLY?
EC/EL's creative field artists are taking creativity on a whole new level, it differs from international arts in its own unique way because we are a reflection to ourselves and our own craft to set East London(Eastern Cape) to a new height. Everyone has their own way to potray creativity and through themselves.


HOW DO YOU SEE YOUR WORK IN 2 YEARS TIME?
I see it evolved a lot. Working with the greatest and most highly influential creative beings in the arts field, having the organisation known all over South Africa, growing individuals in their craft and setting my work to make a mark internationally and working on building/living a legacy that will change and touch lives.

Greatest HipHop Performance

BlowS.A is a South African local rapper from Atteigeville  Pretoria. .We met Blow at the South African biggest Theatre(State Theatre Pretoria ), his performance was not only good but amazing too,we didn't believe they could be such great talent in the townships of South Africa(specifically PTA townships )..With the vocals,the story line and the energy ,it was not just a good performance, it was a pretty damn good performance. With an adoring crowd and cheering fans, It is easy to fall in love with his Music .We enjoyed his performance and we loved his Music
